On April 9, 2010, The Coleman Company, Inc., celebrated the official opening of its Distribution Center at Midwest Commerce Center in Gardner, KS.

President and CEO Sam Solomon spoke to a crowd of approximately 80 invited guests and more than 100 first-shift Gardner employees at the ribbon cutting ceremony.  Solomon recognized the role of developers in meeting the challenging 11-month deadline to build the facility; and employees' efforts in the start up to Coleman's busiest shipping season.
